USA Trip Part III: The East
To finish up with the last segment of my amazing trip to the USofA:

We went to the beach lots and I got to ride a bike becuase we didn't all fit in the car, my the family is growing.

Sofi's not the biggest fan of the beach, but she really likes rocks.

My mothers are lovely and continually plied us with fancy dinners and loads of alcohol. We had a BBQ and made it through the longest, rainiest fireworks show ever on the 4th.
We cooked lobsters for my vegan sister's birthday. She liked them, but I think she enjoyed the vueve clicquot more.

My Orcas Island buddy Storm just happened to be getting married down the road (to Benji). I'm not sure if I got the 'came the farthest' award as there were some kiwis there, but it was lovely just the same. The ceremony was on the beach and there were all these people sunbathing with their umbrellas and coolers and kites.
We all headed to Boston to fly out and I had to bum around the airport for a couple hours. I was marveling at the variety of 'massaging' devices in Brookstone when I heard a "anyone want a free beer?" Some dude forgot you couldn't take liquids through security so we pounded some heinekens and chatted about living abroad (he lives in Japan where they eat raw horsemeat).I took a short flight from Boston to DC and got to eat Ethiopian food with my buddies Eric and Yarrow. Unfotunately I had to leave the next day, so after many iced coffees (DC is so hot!), I took the metro to the airport and said farewell to the USA.
