Argentina and Uruguay

I went to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Woah, its big.

Megs and I roamed the city and sang Madonna at Evita's grave.

They eat lots of veal and un-spicy things, but I drank good coffee everyday. I saw an Argentinian Rolling Stones coverband. No joke. They love the Stones. They also love mate. (note mate bag left in cemetary)

They also love tango. And now I love tango too. They love tango so much, bands are willing to roll pianos through crowded markets to perform. (in San Telmo)

This is an old man singing.

Plaze de Mayo. Historic, yes.

I went to El Ateneo, the most beautiful bookstore ever in an old theater. The woman in the children's section asked me to read aloud to her. She laughed everytime I said 'estrella' instead of 'estrezha. ' I wish I had a photo.

Then I went to Montevideo and Colonia, Uruguay.

Uruguazhens know how to stencil.

I usually don't stereotype a whole nation like this, but Urugauyans are really really nice. And they know how to love.

This is an old wall from a fort in Colonia.

Megs and I and the ocean.
